Ten Steps to Wellness—The LaTorre Wellness Center

Recently, I woke up with severe lower back pain that made me unable to walk. I’d never experienced this before and had given little sympathy to anyone with chronic back pain. After speaking to several associates and relatives that morning, I quickly learned that the common solution to backache was rest, pain pills, and anti-inflammatory medicine. Lucky for me, I chose a different solution and went to see Dr. William LaTorre, D.C.F. A.A.B.T., that same day. He fixed my back in three simple visits with adjustments by a contraption that looked like a small jackhammer, laser treatment, and three bottles of natural enzymes taken several times a day.

I was walking straight the first day and by the third, was
attending a spinning class. I wondered what Dr. LaTorre did to make this back cure seem so magical. My spinning partner, Cindy explained that Dr. LaTorre treated her allergies to strawberries and tomatoes. I wondered again: What does this chiropractor know that

other practitioners don’t? His approach is a comprehensive treatment through what he refers to as the “ten steps to wellness.” The ten steps are holistic, meaning a philosophy of medical care that views physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of life as interconnected. The approach to symptoms is very interactive; the combined methods of treatment create a harmoniously healthy body and mind. The goal is to maintain an optimum level of well-being. Reaching this optimum state is achieved through structural alignment, nutrients, detoxification, sound and light therapy, and cold laser treatments.

Dr. LaTorre introduces his patients to this holistic approach through education and example. “When a new patient comes into my office, there are four things they want: First, to find the problem; second, to fix the
problem; third, how long will it take; and, fourth how much will it cost.” His approach starts with analyzing the symptoms, which can be allergies, backaches, stomach problems, fatigue, headaches, etc. There are different methods of analysis and they vary according to the patient’s symptoms. The treatment is based on their physical and mental condition. The ten steps to

Wellness can be summed up as:
• Re-establishing structural integrity
• Rebalancing electromagnetic fields
• Resetting the adrenal glands
• Replenishing nutrition
• Reducing infective organisms
• Replacing enzymes
• Restoring bodily functions
• Re-evaluating patterns
• Reprogramming the patient’s sensitivities

Billions of dollars are spent in pharmaceuticals and treatment without solving the source of the problem. After experiencing first-hand, and reading the testimonials, I believe Dr. LaTorre does know something magical about feeling good!
