Dr. William A. LaTorre
For more than thirty years, Dr. LaTorre has helped restore health and wellness to thousands of patients. Whether they've come to him after years of chronic arthritis, back or headache pain, acute pain like that caused by trauma from a car accident or a fall, stomach problems, to manage weight after years of trying, to end the suffering caused by asthma and allergies, Dr. LaTorre has helped heal so many that thought they never would or could feel well and strong again. Part of Dr. LaTorre's success comes from the fact that he is a lifelong learner, and insatiably curious about the newest and best ways to treat the whole person, and to return to health those who have felt unhealthy for a long time. Dr. LaTorre holds a bachelor's degree in human biology, then went on to become a chiropractic physician who earned this designation from Lincoln College in Indianapolis. But his learning did not stop there far from it. In many ways, this was the beginning of what has been lifelong training. He holds a masters in biomechanical trauma and human kinetics from Lynn University in Miami, then did fellowship training in the biomechanics of impact trauma and subsequently earned his designation as a diplomate from the American Academy of Biomechanical Trauma. Dr. LaTorre is certified as one of approximately only 100 Brimhall-trained wellness and holistic practitioners in the U.S. with advanced training in nutrition and cold laser therapy. Dr. LaTorre has trained also in DNA, hormone, genetic testing and treatment. Most recently, Dr. LaTorre completed training in the use and application of the Zerona™ laser, the latest technology and non-invasive, natural alternative to liposuction. He is an author and has lectured widely throughout the U.S. at universities, before national and local professional organizations, corporate seminars and on television and radio.
Dr. LaTorre, while highly credentialed, holds to a simple mission...to help bring people to optimum health with high quality, affordable health care in a comfortable and caring environment that helps unlock the God-given potential within everyone.
Among one of the most charitable and philanthropic residents in Tampa Bay, Dr. LaTorre is an ardent lover of music, dancing, cooking and in general, has an insatiable love for life, nurturing the spirit and learning how to best help others. He lives with his family in Gulfport.
Dr. LaTorre says, "I am passionate about my work and through my hands, I believe that such passion becomes the elixir and the energy pathway by which I help my patients find their way back to health and vitality."

Rebecca Price

Always busy working with patients and assisting Dr. LaTorre is Rebecca, who is a certified chiropractic assistant and nutrition counselor who joined LaTorre Wellness Center in July, 2007. Rebecca brings to LWC a strong background in nutritional support, diet, exercise counseling, emotional and inner healing. She says that although her background is varied, the common thread and interest that is indelibly woven throughout her experience is in helping humanity. Before coming to LWC, Rebecca was head of a viable ministry specializing in Biblical counseling and inner healing. In addition, she was a physical education teacher at Veritas Preparatory School in Pinellas Park, and led their after school activities program. Rebecca has also served as a fitness and nutrition coach, is the founder and owner of Priceless Kids Ministry and was an associate pastor at Harvest Temple Church in Largo. She is the author of “Disciplining the Inner Person,” and has taught several different fitness classes at many fitness clubs. Among her areas of study, Rebecca has completed coursework in psychology, health and nutrition, and applied kinesiology. Says Rebecca,
"Working at LWC makes me feel so good! Dr. LaTorre motivates all of us here to be the best we can be. The energy here is phenomenal".
Lisa Oversby
Holding down the fort at the front desk, Lisa's is the first of the bright and shining faces you will encounter when you come to LaTorre Wellness Center. Her smile is evident even when you're on the phone with her. Lisa came to LWC in September, 2007. She is a native of Canada where she worked as a certified health counselor at Herbal Magic Nutrition Centers in Georgetown, Ontario. Prior to that, Lisa developed her great people skills (and that smiled!) in customer service, retail, merchandising and management. She attended the Toronto School of Business and Seneca College, is an accomplished floral designer, loves animals, yoga, boating and walking, and lives with her family in St. Petersburg. About working at LaTorre Wellness Center, Lisa says what she likes best are the
"Wonderful patients, and the positive and nurturing attitude I receive from Dr. LaTorre and my associates".
David Donatelli

Before joining LaTorre Wellness Center in June 2010, David had an extensive background of training and certification behind him. He attended and graduated from the Suncoast School of Massage Therapy in 1993, becoming a nationally-certified sports massage therapist. Passionate about sports therapy and inspired by his deceased father, Augie Donatelli, who was a major league umpire for 25 years, David trained under nationally-recognized expert, Aaron Mattes, who specializes in AIS (Active Isolation Stretching) techniques. From 1993-1996, David worked at the Lake of the Ozarks Tan-Tar-A Resort in Missouri, before coming to Safety Harbor Resort and Spa right here in the Tampa Bay area. He also owned On Site Massage Therapy from 1999-2007, bringing massage into people's homes for relaxation and therapy. David specializes in therapeutic massage, biomechanics, range of motion, the AIS method, deep tissue massage and reflexology. He believes that each person has the right and responsibility to be good stewards of their own wellness and should make healthy decisions on a daily basis that will affect their long-term quality of life. He is excited to be a member of the LaTorre Wellness team with Dr. LaTorre serving as motivator and mentor.
