When I called Dr. LaTorre out of sheer desperation and asked him for something, ANYTHING, to ease my suffering, he not only scheduled me for an appointment that day, but he personally showed up at my hotel in less than one hour. Dr. LaTorre to calmly administered a few acupuncture needles to my ear in conjunction with about 25 minutes of completely non-invasive cold laser therapy on my ankle. Almost immediately, I felt my hysteria and my breathing begin to calm, I could talk and think clearly, and within the first ten minutes, the pain was completely under control. I had never received acupuncture or cold laser before this occasion and, consequently, I'd had no confidence personally in the treatment. I can say now that as a pain management alternative to pills, what Dr. LaTorre offers is absolutely incredible, not to mention safe, healthy and completely inexpensive when I take into account the costs of the three prescriptions I was written, I have found a doctor with the knowledge and skills to provide a much appreciated alternative. Wow, what a relief you all have given me so far. I was reluctant to begin treatment, but was desperate to try anything that would help relive my pain. Other doctors only suggested painkillers or surgery. I went to your clinic with high hopes and was not disappointed. I have had pain in my shoulder and low back and knees for years. My shoulder was so bad I could not lie on that side of my body when sleeping, and when I sewed, my fingers would go numb. After the first treatment, I did not think much about my shoulder, but that evening I slept on my side for the first time in years. AND I woke in the morning pain free. I used to have so much pain in my shoulder that it would wake me from a sound sleep and I'd be in agonizing pain if I accidentally rolled on it while sleeping. I am writing to thank you so very much for changing mine and my husband's lives. When we initially met you on April 7th, 2008, we told you of our allergies and you said that you could change our lives, and you have. I have been allergic to albumin [egg white] since 1974 and for many years carried an Epipen. After one treatment in your clinic, I can now eat eggs, shellfish and peanuts. I no longer need to carry an Epipen, thank you for my new lease of life. My husband who has been a celiac sufferer since 1998 has resented eating gluten free products. After moving to Florida from Canada three years ago, I was excited to live in such a tropical and warm environment. I have had non-stop headaches for the past four years, diabetes, stroke, back pain, blurred vision, embolism, a heart condition, neuropathy, sleepless nights, stomach issues, high blood pressure and horrible halitosis. My wife Helen was in a nursing home and failing fast. I was not given much hope by the doctors and staff there. Helen suffered a stroke and was all curled up in a fetal position and feeding tube, and catheter. She babbled senselessly and non-stop. I can smell again! No pain! No surgery! About five years ago after a bout with a severe head cold in which I used an over-the-counter zinc-based inhaler, I lost my sense of smell.
